Job description: Join a dynamic logistics company with national and international operations, based in Co. Clare. We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant with strong financial acumen and a passion for operational excellence.Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee finance operations including invoicing, payroll, VAT returns, reconciliations, and assist with month-end reporting
• Manage customs processes, declarations, and compliance with Irish, UK, and EU regulations
• Lead office administration, support planning and customer service teams, and drive process improvements
• Ensure fleet and insurance compliance, manage budgets, and generate KPI reports
• Act as a key point of contact for internal audits and finance/customs projects

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in an Accounts role
• Self-motivated, organised, and customer-focused
• Experience with Sage Accounts/Payroll and customs procedures is a plus
• Knowledge of the transport/logistics industry is an advantage

Expected salary: €30000 – 40000 per year
