Job description: KWS Berlin GmbH is looking for an Accounts Receivable Accountant with knowledge of Portuguese, German and English (m\f\d). This is a 2 years full-time position at our location in Berlin.Your tasks:Process incoming customer payments in accordance with SLAMaintain and clear customer accountsProvide customer balance confirmation and perform reconciliationsProcess customer returns, rebates, and refundsGenerate statement of accounts and process dunning lettersCalculate and approve credit limitsRespond to audit requests and participate in meetings with auditorsPerform monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing activities in a timely mannerResolve account discrepancies and contact customers accordinglyCalculate provisions, write-offs, and bad debts devaluation in accordance with IFRS 9Create periodic/ad-hoc reports to support the leadershipEngage customers in collection efforts in writing as well as over the phoneCreate manual invoices and manage chequesProcess acts of acceptance and monitor relevant general ledger accountsManage disputes, direct debit, and cash allocation with TreasurySupport in I.T. projects related to the department as well as engage in testingInvestigate inter-company differences with relevant stakeholdersSupport the Business Units with daily requests as neededEnsure work and process documentation is maintained and updatedParticipate and provide training to new colleagues as neededYour profile:Preferably an apprenticeship or BA Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Economics.
