Job description: Administrative Assistant for the European Environment Agency (EEA)Do you have experience in administrative and organizational support and excel at coordination? If yes, we have an exciting opportunity for you at the EEA. We are currently looking for an administrative assistant for the Sustainability Department, with a start in mid-August. This gives you the chance to enjoy a long summer holiday before joining the EEA.You will be part of an organization that makes a real difference. We are looking for someone passionate about this field, eager to apply their skills in an agency where meaningful work is at the forefront.Your tasks will include the following:
- Managing calendars, appointments and meetings for the Head of Department and unit managers
- Drafting and proofreading notes, minutes, correspondence and presentations
- Organising and coordinating internal and external meetings, conferences and workshops (in-person, online and hybrid)
- Serving as the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience in a similar role
- Takes a proactive approach to task execution
- Maintains a strong overview of tasks and priorities
- Holds a relevant higher education that equips you to handle these responsibilities
- Communicates professionally in English, both written and spoken
- Is proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word and Outlook
- Finds IT intuitive and enjoys learning new systems
Practical details:
- Start date: 15 August 2025
- End date: 21 November 2025 – with good prospects for extension
- Salary: DKK 195.85 per hour (basic salary DKK 179.68 per hour + 9% collective agreement)
- Workplace: Kongens Nytorv 6, 1050 Copenhagen
- Hours per week: 37
- Working hours: Flexible scheduling in agreement with your manager
