Job description: Task Responsibilities:It is a temporary position for 24 months.The position is responsible for Invoice preparation in Cargo Revenue Accounting system (iCargo). Overall main task is to ensure accurate data on airway bill (AWB) level prior to finalization of billing issuance to the customers. This involves:

  • Invoice preparation in the Cargo Revenue Accounting module of the CMS system for shipments of specific origins & types assigned to be under the position holder’s responsibility.
  • Verify accuracy of the data in the Cargo Revenue Accounting system.
  • Coordinate with departments upstream (e.g. sales, operations, revenue management) and downstream (accounting, billing/collection) to adjust data if needed to allow correct invoicing.
  • Prepare and control issuance of adjustments (Credit/Debit Notes) of AWB’s already invoiced when required.
  • Ensuring timely invoicing to respect established deadlines such as monthly revenue close and IATA platform submission calendars.
  • Notifying line management of actual or potential revenue leakage issues.
  • Participate and contribute towards projects on ad hoc basis.
  • Participate and contribute to prepare/update internal process documentations.
  • Provide customer service support in relation to customer invoices. Maintain communication with customers, GSA’s, GHA’s as required to address questions and to facilitate necessary follow-ups.

Essential Requirements For The Position:

  • Attention to details and meticulous attitude
  • Have a general accounting/finance knowledge
  • Feeling comfortable to work in a team as well as autonomously
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Analyzing, processing and understanding information
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under time pressure
  • Strong IT skills, especially with MS Excel
  • Experience in air cargo or logistics industry will be considered as an advantage
  • Fluency in English and German

Working Conditions:

  • Position based in Frankfurt
  • Temporary position for 24 months
  • Occasional travel
  • 30 days of annual leave, vacation allowance and a 13-month salary
  • Flexibility in working hours
  • A certificate of good conduct will be required
