Job description: Asset Data Quality Officer (full time, 35 hours per week)You will have a key role in supporting the delivery of Great Places’ Corporate Plan, Asset Management and Sustainability Strategies. Your primary responsibility is to manage and monitor all change requests received from the organisation, ensuring that quick turnaround times are applied to implement change, minimising impact on stock reconciliation, compliance active and rent and service charge income.You will provide quality assurance of data and performance information to ensure accuracy and integrity of data. This will require building effective communication channels with surveyors, compliance & technical officers as well as cross departmental colleagues in teams such as repairs, development and neighbourhoods.What you’ll be doingComply with Great Places’ Equality and Diversity, Health and Safety, and Safeguarding Policies.Undertake relevant training and development opportunities.Contribute to the delivery of the Great Places competency framework.Manage property-related requests (disposals, acquisitions, buy-backs, etc.) including managing and processing the handover of newbuild properties, and ensure all required information is accurately recorded in relevant systems.Consult with stakeholders to verify data and ensure compliance activities are captured and systems updated.Monitor stock reconciliation and report on asset and stock list movements.Ensure timely processing of changes and lead weekly meetings with stakeholders to report on progress.Provide business assurance through quality checks and act as an audit point for processes.Collect, organize, and analyse data to provide operational insights.Support the Asset Strategy Manager in processing, analysing, and interpreting performance data.Create visualizations and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders.Provide business assurance re: quality checks and act as audit to the process.Ensure the Assets team provides detailed, efficient, and effective asset information and reports.Support the wider Assets team with data analysis, management, and reporting capabilities.Provide access to asset and stock data for internal teams, supporting the Divestment Strategy and decision-making across the business.What you’ll needProficiency in the full Microsoft Office suite, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.Experience working with large data sets, including analysing, comparing, and effectively communicating results.Experience with asset or property data within the housing sector (desirable).Knowledge of SQL, Power BI, and data warehouse reporting and extraction (advantageous).Strong attention to detail, with the ability to complete tasks accurately and on time under pressure.Ability to collaborate effectively with staff and stakeholders to gather information and resolve issues.High standard of customer service.Project management experience.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently.What we need from youStrong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to communicate data effectively.Highly organised, reliable, and target-driven, with excellent time management and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.A commitment to understand the challenges and opportunities that exist in the communities in which we work.
