However, this function acts as a centralised 1st line support team, providing support to both MUFG Bank London and MUFG Securities.CKG supports all front office areas throughout EMEA across Bank and Securities with responsibility and effective oversight of circa 7,000 existing counterparts.This role is to support the CKG Head of MI & Book of Work with the build-out and and management of a KYC Management Information Centre of Excellence, including planning and execution of the related activities across the required business lines.This individual will be a key focal point across the CKG team as the SME for KYC MI & Reporting and will be required to support team governance including procedure updates, control attestations, updates on risks and issues and creation of project / team updates for various forums as required.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESIn this role you will be responsible for:

  • Work as part of a centralised team to produce, design, implement and support the production of key KYC MI reporting to internal stakeholders and Senior Management Teams/Forums
  • Support the day-to-day production & of KYC MI and ensure these are published within agreed timeframes
  • Maintain and publish KYC MI reporting & associated presentations for analysis across the CKG Team and for various Senior Management Forums
  • Aid in MI preparation to create, develop, and publish a suite of Management Information reports – both regular MI reporting and ad-hoc analysis as and when required. It is essential that the reports published are clear and are produced to an exceptional standard
  • Proactive in identifying Data Quality Issues and driving both tactical and strategic data remediation (both for MUFG Bank and MUFG Securities)
  • Identifing opportunities for improving our end-to-end customer experience
  • Identification of key dependicies, stakeholder engagement through to resolution
  • Interact & communicate effectively at all levels and build strong working relationship on an ongoing basis with business and IT partners
  • Develop internal controls and metrics to continuously monitor trends and data quality; implement processes to detect, correct and prevent invalid data or errors
  • Drive decisions to ensure optimal solutions are based on both commercial and business requirements
  • Support continual deep dive and trend analyses of data to provide Senior Management with key insights
  • Support strategic projects to enhance the MI Reporting capability

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • One or more of the following is essential:
  • Experience of working in a MI Team (preferably with KYC data) with a good understanding of the importance of Data Quality
  • Experience in Front Office (1LoD) management environment working with a team of data analysts
  • Experience within Corporate & Investment Banking, Capital Markets or Securities and exposure to related entities is essential

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEFunctional / Technical Competencies:

  • Proficiency in MS Office with Advanced Excel (Power BI, Power Query, VBA)
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret large sets of data

  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Tangible experience of running data and MI initiatives within a complex organisational structure, with the ability to demonstrate successful outcomes

  • Broad knowledge of investment and corporate banking products and services and how they impact or support clients across sectors / regions
  • Ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision
  • Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy
  • Experience/knowledge in MI Platforms such as Power BI (Experience with Jira would also be beneficial)
  • Demonstrates initiative especially in a matrix organization

Education / Qualifications:

  • Beneficial qualifications (e.g. MBA, CFA, etc.) (Beneficial)

  • Sound knowledge of MS Access Database including calculated fields queries and Macros, Modify SQL Developer queries, Excel Macros including VBA coding
  • Knowledge of KYC policy, procedures & process
  • Analytical mindset to resolve issues in a variety of complex situations
  • A team player who will implement initiatives effectively and motivate others to contribute
  • Ability to support a cross-functional project team with varied disciplines
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, project management and people management skills
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure to manage deadlines
  • Track record of success in delivering high quality work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • MIS and metrics and efficiency analysis skills
