Apply now for a life-changing career!The positionYou will be part of a great team of 4 colleagues, consisting of project managers and system experts. The team is responsible for providing subject matter expertise from a Procurement perspective to the Due Diligence and Post-Merger Integration phases across acquired assets and companies. This includes driving adoption to our procurement system Coupa, continuous optimisations in purchasing and finance processes, driving integrations of acquired companies for Procurement process and systems and business partnering on a global level. Thereby, we aim to support Novo Nordisk’s strategic agenda of acquiring external innovation and production capacity to enable our future growth and drive change to defeat serious chronic diseases.You will be working closely with stakeholders across the company, on activities including:70% Project Management:

• Take lead in due diligences of potential targets (assets/companies) from a Corporate Procurement perspective ensuring relevant information are captured, risks identified, and overall assessment communicated to the right stakeholders
• Drive together with senior colleagues the post-merger integration, digitalisation and process improvement incl. issue/opportunity identification, design and implementation of acquired assets and companies
• Utilize best in class project management toolkits and knowledge to drive due diligences and post-merger integration deliverables through the complex interdependencies across functional units
• Acting as a sparring partner for colleagues across the organisation during due diligences and post-merger integration activities connected to Procurement
• Designing the post-merger procurement operating model and continue to improve best practice integration approaches for Procurement processes and systems
• Support managing the continued development of procurement models used during due diligence
• Change management activities to drive utilisation and adoption of digital procurement technology
• Business partnering to the organisation to ensure a close link between business needs and digital opportunities to drive world class procurement

30% Specialist/Subject Matter Expert:

• Support and plan the technicalities of procurement process and system integration efforts for company acquisitions through data analysis, data mapping and designing of migration strategies

• Support the execution of migration strategies to integrate systems, master data and processes into Novo Nordisk
• Provide input to the configuration of Coupa system elements for new affiliates and companies

This position is based in Denmark, but some travel activities may occur.QualificationsYou hold a master’s degree within Business, or IT with excellent results and have relevant M&A work experience, with procurement integration experience being a large plus. In addition, you have at least 3 years of experience working in a larger company connected to Procurement or M&A related activities. Finally, to be successful in this role, you have or are:

• Passion for working with integrations, business development and process change management and thrive when having to solve complex problems also with short timelines
• Taken part in driving forward integration projects
• Solid project management and procurement toolbox. In addition, having experience within several different financial disciplines (FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Accounting, SAP etc.) is a plus, but not a must-have
• Strong stakeholder management and communication (written and oral) skills in English and are good at building relations
• A track record of driving projects on your own and have experience with managing larger projects and project teams
• Self-driven, comfortable making decisions or choosing escalation, curious nature, high learning willingness and agility
• Preferably, knowledgeable about pharma industry regulations and compliance requirements
• Fluency in English
