We are a business law firm with extensive knowledge and experience in all areas of Irish business-related law and with particular focus on the Energy, Technology, Financial Services, Built Environment, Healthcare, Life Sciences, Charities and Public sectors.The RoleWe are seeking an ambitious solicitor with strong general experience in litigation to join our Public, Regulatory and Investigations Team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of complex legal matters, including regulatory advice, investigations and inquiries, and administrative law proceedings.The role will include:Advising on administrative/public law, statutory interpretation and analysis (including of sector-specific domestic and EU legislation), and information law issues, including FOI, Access to Information on the Environment and data privacy issuesAssisting in administrative law litigation, such as judicial review and statutory appeal proceedings, to include briefing and managing the input of counselAssisting in drafting legal opinions and court documentsAssisting in drafting other documents such as correspondence, consultation documents and public bodies’ policies, procedures or guidance documentsAdvising on the conduct of investigations by regulatory authorities and assisting clients in their approach to statutory or other investigations and inquiriesCollaborating with cross-sectoral teams within MHC, including our privacy and charities teamsSupporting senior lawyers on the teamJoining our team offers a unique opportunity to work on challenging and impactful matters in a collaborative and supportive environment.
