Danish ICYE (International Cultural Youth Exchange) is a non-profit exchange organization primarily for young people between the ages of 18-30, working to promote intercultural understanding through volunteer work and cultural exchange. We send young Danes out into the world and receive international volunteers in Denmark.Our secretariat is located in Aarhus, but we work closely with committed volunteers throughout the country. Our young volunteers help plan and organize both national and local events such as national meetings, camps and social activities, so that our intercultural community can flourish around the country.Who are we looking for?
We are looking for one or more volunteers to help with our social media and website. You don’t have to be an expert – the most important thing is that you want to play with ideas and communicate our messages to the world.We hope that you:

• Interested in social media and online communication.

• Want to contribute to telling the good stories from our organization.

• Are you curious to learn more about websites?

• Can dedicate 1-3 hours per week, depending on what you want and have time for.

You don’t have to live in Aarhus – we are used to meeting online, and you can easily join from your own living room, your dorm room, or a café in Copenhagen.What could those tasks look like?

• Plan and prepare posts for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn.

• Help keep our website updated and user-friendly.

• Develop creative ideas for posts, stories, newsletters or campaigns.

• Participate in online meetings with the secretariat and possibly other volunteers in the communications team.
