Are you ready to shape the future with us?Your new adventureWe are looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking Business Developer to join our team, focusing on the Special Operations (Defense) segment.In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and expanding our customer base within the defense industry. You will play a key role in tracking market trends, driving innovation initiatives, and ensuring alignment with regulatory frameworks specific to defense and governments.Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify potential business opportunities and lead the sales process effectively.Create targeted customer lists and anticipate potential customer requirements to drive sales initiatives.Develop acquisition templates and business cases to support strategic growth efforts.Prepare strategic reports and recommendations for management to guide decision-making.Ensure full compliance with defense regulations, NATO standards and international export controls.Navigate complex procurement, tendering and contracting processes.Leverage opportunities within governmental and military procurement.Monitor competitors and perform benchmarking within the defense market to stay ahead of industry trends.Your experiences and skillsMinimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in the industry.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.Fluent in English; proficiency in German is beneficial. Any other language is an asset.Strong analytical, strategic planning, and financial forecasting skills.Proven experience in business development methods and practices.In-depth knowledge of military procurement & contracting.Familiarity with defense compliance & security requirements.Proven track record in dealing with military & government stakeholders.We offerYou will be offered an exciting position in an with many and diverse development opportunities. The minimum salary for this position is EUR 52,197.04 gross/year in accordance with the collective agreement for the metal industry. Depending on your qualifications and professional experience, we offer an attractive and performance-related salary with corresponding overpayment.
