Our mission is to contribute to better business efficiency, both for manufacturers and pharmacies, and to maximize sales of products that are part of our projects.Position SummaryAs the Business Development Director at Skills in Healthcare, you will play a critical role in driving the growth and success of our business in the Czech Republic. This leadership position combines strategic vision and operational expertise to develop and maintain strong partnerships with key stakeholders, including pharmaceutical manufacturers and healthcare providers. You will oversee sales and promotional strategies, build and lead a high-performing team, and ensure the delivery of impactful healthcare solutions that optimize patient access to treatments, improve operational efficiency, and drive business performance. - Maintains and develops relations with the suppliers of the department
- Develops and implements the sales & promotion strategy of the portfolios in charge with in collaboration with the third party;
- Develops and periodically updates the work procedures within the department
- Respecting the objectives set by the Regional Director CEE.
- Constantly administers the balance of income vs. expenses at manufacturer level and, depending on this, negotiates obtaining conditions for the organization of various campaigns and actions to increase performance
- Initiates and participates in the process of recruitment and selection of personnel, whenever there is a vacancy in the coordinated team, respectively: completes the application form, supports the final interviews and communicates the decision and feedback to the HR Dept. within a maximum of 2 days
- Participates in the internal personal development courses organized by the company. If he/she cannot attend the course, notifies the superior at least 48 hours in advance;
- Participates in knowledge verification tests, having the obligation to obtain the minimum score announced
- Participates in internal and external audits
- Performs professional evaluations for subordinates Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer feedback to gather insights and provide feedback to the company.
- Collaborates with internal teams, such as marketing and sales, to develop and implement effective promotional strategies.
- Attend industry conferences, seminars and workshops to stay updated with industry trends and expand professional networks.
- Adhere to ethical and regulatory guidelines set by the pharmaceutical industry, ensuring compliance in all interactions and activities.
.Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in leading a 10 people team and minimum 5 years of experience in sales and medical promotion.
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing, pharmacy, life sciences, business or related field.
- Familiarity with databases, statistics, product lines, and latest medical issues.
- Advanced or medium knowledge of MS Office.
- Professional English and native level of the Czech language.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent teamwork and networking skills.
- Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales.
- Ability to travel frequently; driver’s license.
- Strong negotiation and sales skills.
