Job description: ​Business Planning ManagerBusiness Planning Manager for the YouSee Strategic Planning TeamYouSee is seeking a structured and detail-oriented Business Planning Manager to oversee the planning and demand management process within our organization.YouSee is in the midst of a full business and IT transformation creating a next-generation telco of tomorrow, supporting the strategies of being truly digital and create great customer experiences. We are actively “left-shifting” functions, establishing a centralized team in the business, thus creating a strong, versatile delivery hub in youSee.As part of our Strategic Planning Team, you will have an essential role in structuring our business planning and controlling our demands towards our partners and technological development. You will be instrumental in ensuring our ability to plan and deliver, both on time and on budget, and you will be our lead in ensuring an efficient process and timely execution.This role will focus on planning and prioritizing our business demands towards our partners, controlling budgets, managing escalation processes, and cultivating strong relationships with stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be skilled in demand planning and budget management, will be process-oriented and experienced in simplifying complex demands while maintaining a professional demeanor.Roles & ResponsibilitiesAmong other areas of responsibility, the role will center on the following:Delivery Planning

  • Connect the dots between our business projects and deliverables and the technical deliverables from our vendors and partners
  • Ensure transparency and clear overview of deliverables and future releases, and their business counterparts

Demand Management

  • Assess and prioritize incoming demands based on business needs, impact, and resource availability.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive and prioritized demand pipeline to ensure visibility and alignment across departments.

Budget Control

  • Monitor and manage budgets related to demand initiatives, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
  • Collaborate with finance teams to analyze demand-related expenditures and provide regular financial reports.

Escalation Processes

  • Establish and manage a structured escalation process for unresolved demands, ensuring timely resolution and communication.
  • Act as a point of contact for escalated issues, facilitating problem-solving and decision making.

Process Improvement

  • Continuously evaluate and enhance business demand management processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Implement best practices and standard operating procedures to streamline business demand management activities.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, ensuring alignment and transparency in demand management efforts.
  • Facilitate regular meetings and updates with stakeholders to review demand status, priorities, and resource allocation.

  • Proficiency in designing, optimizing, and implementing processes to enhance efficiency and ensure consistent delivery.

Analytical and Financial Acumen

  • Trained in budget control, data-driven decision-making, and assessing the financial impact of initiatives to optimize resource efficiency.

Stakeholder Influence and Collaboration

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trust, manage expectations, and navigate complex stakeholder environments.

Problem-Solving and Resilience

  • Skilled in managing escalation processes, resolving conflicts when dealing with obstacles, and maintaining a constructive approach to problems.

Qualifications

  • Relevant degree combined with 3-5 years of experience from similar role.
  • Proficiency in demand management, project and process management, or experience from a similar role.
  • Experience in the telco industry is useful, but not a requirement.
  • Financial knowledge with experience in budget management and analysis.
  • Extensive experience in Jira is needed and solid experience in Power BI , excel, power point is a plus
  • Solid organizational skills, with keen attention to detail and a structured approach to work.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a professional approach during busy times.
