They ensure our business is run effectively, efficiently and in support of delivering against our commitments internally and externally to our customers, partners and regulatory bodies.
Responsibilities:

  • Plans, performs and implements the most complex process improvement initiatives (such as Lean or Six Sigma). Projects typically span business units or require significant cross functional alignment or involvement and are global in nature. Assignments often include designing process from scratch in emerging functional organizations or business units.
  • Leverages extensive knowledge and experience to contribute to medium and long-term vision and strategy in Global Repair Quality. Develop and execute roadmaps and strategies to drive a multi-year improvement plan resulting in improved customer satisfaction and cost savings
  • Owns drafting and revision of new / updated business processes in assigned business unit. Socializes for agreement using judgment on selection of reviewers. Manages change management efforts associated with implementing including communications and training.
  • Conducts root cause analysis of process failures. Works proactively to identify and suggest opportunities to improve process effectiveness and efficiency is assigned BU
  • Applies quality tool set in innovative ways to identify and solve problems.
  • Uses knowledge and experience to proactively identify risks to product quality and intervenes to mitigate
  • Establishes strong operational relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders to achieve product direct material cost reduction targets
  • Intimately understands system relationships and data flow. Uses industry best practices for data management. Understands upstream, downstream and work tools impacts to process change. Can recommend solutions to minimize impacts.
  • Measures and reports on success of new / revised processes in the BU. Reporting typically includes presentations to mid to senior level or executive audiences.
  • Provides consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and product / service quality.
  • Performs cost and benefit analyses.
  • Acts as an ambassador of quality.
  • May coach / mentor or oversee the work of less senior BPAs, acting as a resource and escalation point

Qualifications:Preferred Education

  • Master’s degre

Preferred Work Experience (years)

  • Minimum 12 years

Key Skills and Competencies

  • Six Sigma Black Belt preferred or in progress
  • Strong facilitation skills, including conflict management.
  • Deep understanding of financial concepts including P&L, balances sheets, and ROI models with delivery of outcome through defined objectives
  • Requires in-depth knowledge of the units supervised, sound knowledge of other functional units and their interactions, and sound knowledge of overall business strategies and corporate goals.
  • Required to interpret and frame complex or specialized information for presentation to varied audiences.
  • Interacts with key internal and external stakeholders and stakeholders in order to resolve complex problems
  • Requires the ability to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance from, others in sensitive situations, without damage to the relationship.
  • Demonstrated expert knowledge / experience using basic change management principals and approaches.
  • Multi-task and manage complex programs
