As BPO for operational finance, you will assume an important role in developing further standardisation and harmonisation of systems and finance processes across our markets. You will help define, document, and implement global processes and standards in the operational finance domain. This sits at the intersection of finance, supply chain, and clinic operations.You will cooperate closely with our Financial Systems team in Group Finance as well as with teams in Global Operations. You will be the main point of contact with IT for the operational finance parts of our systems to ensure effective systems support for our business, now and in the future.Your ContributionsKey responsibilities will include:

  • Define, refine, and document key processes for the operational finance domain that set the standard for best practice and excellence in areas like cash register management, inventory management, service contracts, consumer financing, etc.
  • Map and understand local market circumstances and differences that may require customised processes, e.g., due to reimbursement schemes, trial requirements, etc.
  • Ensure effective implementation and adoption of globally defined standards in local markets, including consistent follow-up, training, and support.
  • Assess and prioritize requests for changes to existing processes or systems in close dialogue with IT as well as other domains where processes may overlap.
  • Act as main point of contact between our operational finance domain and IT in relation to the multi-year development and implementation of a new ERP and clinic management system.
  • Organize and lead communities and reference groups with subject matter experts.
  • Support strategic supply chain initiatives in close collaboration with our Global Operations organisation in Hearing Aids, including assisting the implementation and adoption at a local level.
  • Collaborate and align closely with BPOs in other domains, e.g., Sales & Service, Analytics, Global Operations, and Group Finance.

The role is anchored in our Group Business Finance team, which comprises around 25 colleagues. You will be part of a dedicated Hearing Care finance team of 5 colleagues based in Denmark and Poland that works very closely with the rest of the Hearing Care organisation. We value collaboration and meet new challenges with a positive mindset, and we are motivated by the great impact we can create.The role will be based at our HQ near Copenhagen, Denmark, but is expected to involve 25-30 travelling days per year, primarily to local markets.Are You the Candidate We Have Been Looking For?
We are looking for a new colleague with desire to contribute to good team spirit and great collaboration.To thrive in this role, we imagine that you possess the following qualifications:

  • Relevant degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience working with business processes and continuous improvements in the area of finance, ideally in a multi-national retail business.
  • Experience with cross-organisational collaboration with supply chain teams in a retail business would be beneficial.
  • Ability to apply a global, strategic mindset in the definition of global best practices but also to build trust with local markets through deep understanding of local circumstances.
  • Solid stakeholder management skills and demonstrated experience with project and change management.
  • Ability to push things forward through structure, results-orientation, and a process mindset while being able to motivate and engage people around you.
