Job description: YOUR OPPORTUNITYAs Business Unit Director you will be accountable for delivering value and financial impact for our company. You will be creating the legacy of Bacardi and driving key decisions that will significantly affect the market-level Commercial operations of Bacardi. As the commercial leader of your country, you will drive a shared vision and common sense of purpose across the commercial team and lead, drive and execute commercial strategy for the business unit to build accelerated profitable growth in line with Best 10 and beyond.YOUR TASKS – WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART YOUR KEY FOCUS WILL BEYou are an important face of Bacardi, both internally and externally, and fully responsible for the commercial operations of your business unit. You are the legal representative of Bacardi in the market and will be accountable for ensuring legal and statutory compliance of the company’s operation.You will have direct responsibility for leading the Commercial operations of the BU markets, Austria and Switzerland, and provide leadership for all commercial resources including advocacy & experiential. You will define the strategic priorities & JTBD by Channel & Customer, as well coordinate between Bacardi & Third-Party Distributors within your geography, where relevant. You are also a critical part of the cluster leadership team.You will be responsible for delivering key financial targets (NSV, Gross Margin, Profitability, ROI, Value Share) of the Business Unit as determined by Cluster and European Leadership team in line with the Best 10 & Beyond Strategy.You will ensure and drive use of Bacardi Commercial Way assets (e.g. Pictures of Success) and approaches to activate our brands and build leading edge influence for our consumers at the point of purchase.You will be accountable for building outstanding customer relationships that bring us stronger profitable execution.You will orchestrate the functioning of the matrix organization within your Business Unit, pulling in the appropriate resources as needed and giving input to all of the internal stakeholders operating with and within your markets.You are responsible to coordinate with other BU functions ensuring their commitments support the Business Unit agenda. This includes liaison with cluster functional leads for any strategic decisions or changes.Deliver results & excellence in executionDeliver key financial targets (NSV, Gross Margin, commercial Overheads, Profitability, ROI, Value Share, Cash) versus budget.Deliver key Commercial scorecard targets.Build and maintain effective Customer relationships.Influence and input to the Cluster IAP to ensure BU plans meet Customer and consumer needs.Lead and enhance the development of commercial capabilities in market to build outstanding future talent.Ensure price strategy and execution in line with overall corporate brand guidelines and financial requirements.Shape and deliver the customer and channel strategy of the BU to maximize long term value to the company.Continue to look evaluate and drive for optimal Route-to-Market in your business unit.Be responsible for accurate sales forecast accuracy.Develop talent and capabilityEnsure implementation of learning and development plans and sustained learning for the commercial organization in your business unit.Take ownership of Commercial capability development in the business unit, in close coordination with Cluster Commercial Development Managers and drive improvements in results as measured by the Commercial Capability Scorecard.Develop the commercial Primos to provide a future talent pool for the future.Ensure that your teams have the resources and assets needed to deliver desired results.Create a winning teamDrive execution excellence through strong, functioning, and coordinated Commercial teams.Build a shared sense of purpose among all employees in your business unit and within the cluster matrix.Aset and align all commercial behind the targets and create a passion for winning in the organization.Recognize accomplishments and behaviours in a timely manner.Ensure all employees have a knowledge of Bacardi history and cultureREQUIREMENTS – THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO CREATE YOUR LEGACYExperience of a leadership role in a matrix organization, managing multiple stakeholders in a complex environmentExperience in leadership roles in international environment (across multiple countries and cultures)Experience as a Sales Director level in a leading FMCG companyExperience in multiple channels at a leadership levelDemonstrable track record of performance in Commercial for multiple yearsFluency in English language skills and relevant local languageThe following experiences are preferred:International experience in above rolesExperience in the Spirits Industry, or Beverages is a distinct advantageExpertise as senior sales or commercial leader at a national levelExperience in additional functions beyond the ones listed aboveFluency in associated markets’ most spoken languagesFinancial acumen to build strong commercial strategies and structuresPERSONAL QUALITIES – SHARE OUR FOUNDER’S PASSION AND ENTREPRENEURIAL FLAIRBelonging: You have a strong capacity to create a culture of ‘Belonging’, where people feel appreciated for who they are, what they do, and who they can become.Self-Awareness: You have high levels of self-awareness, are reflective and know yourself well, understanding both your own strengths and weaknesses and your impact on others.People Agility: You bring a deep ability to understand and relate to people and navigate through tough situations to harness and multiply collective performance.
