Help plan meaningful social events that make a diff…What is HOUSE ROOM?HUSRUM is a free service for young people aged 16 to 30 who experience loneliness and may also struggle with mental vulnerability, such as social anxiety or depression. With us, young people meet in conversation groups and at social events, where they are listened to, learn new tools and meet other young people in the same situation. Our mission is to create a safe and inclusive community where young people can break out of their isolation and build relationships with like-minded people. • Develop your skills: You will have the opportunity to test your leadership skills, collaborate with other committed volunteers, and participate in courses and workshops that strengthen your personal and professional skills.

The task as activity leader:As an activity manager, you are a central figure in the planning and execution of our weekly social events. Here you will…:

• Plan and organize social events such as walks, communal meals, board game nights and cultural excursions.
• Create safe and recognizable frameworks that meet young people’s needs for stability and community.
• Welcoming new young people and volunteers with open arms and ensuring they feel welcome and included.
• Be part of the development of HUSRUM’s activities and contribute ideas that can make the events even better.

What is it like to volunteer with us?At HUSRUM you become part of a strong volunteer community. We value equality, inclusiveness and trust in our relationships. As a volunteer, you will be supported by our coordinator, receive supervision from a professional, and we also offer you the opportunity to participate in courses and networks that can expand your skills within volunteering and management.How much time do you need to be able to dedicate?We expect that as an activity leader you can dedicate approx. 4-6 hours per month to planning and organizing events. We also hold quarterly volunteer meetings where all volunteers meet and share experiences. We provide a thorough introduction so that you feel prepared for the task.Who are you?We are looking for you who:

• Is committed and willing to take responsibility.
• Wants to create safe communities for young people and support them in their social development.
• Can maintain overview and coordinate activities.
• You may have experience with volunteer work, but the most important thing is that you have your heart.
