Job description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Catering Manager to lead our kitchen and food service operations in a compassionate health-care environment in South Dublin. Nutrition is a cornerstone of patient care and recovery, and this role is essential in delivering high-quality, nutritious meals that support the health and well-being of our residents and patients.Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the catering team to ensure efficient, high-quality food service.
• Plan and deliver balanced, nutritious menus tailored to individual dietary needs.
• Maintain strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health-care regulations.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to support patient nutrition and recovery goals.
• Oversee inventory, ordering, and supplier relationships to ensure cost-effective operations.
• Train and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a positive and professional work environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in catering or food service management, preferably in a health-care or residential care setting.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of dietary requirements, food safety, and hygiene standards.
• Relevant qualifications in hospitality, catering, or food safety (e.g., HACCP certification).
• A compassionate and patient-focused approach to service delivery.

Desirable Qualifications:

• A diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field.
• Proven experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a health-care setting.
• Strong understanding of Irish health and safety regulations and HIQA standards.
