Reporting to the Divisional Manager, the Client Service Advisor will be responsible for client servicing of a range of accounts, with an ability to work as part of a team.Main responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in the management a portfolio of Construction, National & Speciality Clients within a pro-active broking environment
• Assisting in the management of clients’ renewals from start to finish, assisting with mid-term alterations, dealing with general day to day client and carrier queries and administrative duties pertaining to same
• Vetting insurance and supporting documentation against defined requirements/standards on behalf of Stakeholders
• Providing support to our designated claims team in the handling of insurance claims
• Providing assistance as required to colleagues across a range of general lines products
• Reviewing policy wordings
• Building strong relationships with clients, underwriters and colleagues through the delivery of a market leading service
• Securing and retaining clients by providing an excellent service
• Assisting the Construction and National & Speciality Team and other Aon colleagues to continually deliver an excellent service
• Participation in campaigns and sales initiatives to target new clients
• Expanding and sharing knowledge and capabilities
• Maintaining the utmost standards of compliance and adherence to broking best-practice
• Complying with all management audit requirements
• Other duties that may arise as the business requires

• Ideally some years of relevant broking experience
• Construction experience an advantage but not essential
• Comply, on an ongoing basis, with the minimum competency requirements laid down by the Central Bank, including but not limited to:

• To be CIP qualified (minimum) Progress to ACII (desirable)
• Meet the Central Bank Fitness & Probity standards
• Provide evidence of compliance with maintaining CPD hours
• Have a desire to improve knowledge across a range of General insurance products
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, insurers and colleagues
• Excellent organizational and administrative skills with ability to work to strict deadlines
• Team player with the ability to work on own initiative
• Ability to prioritize workload and deliver on objectives
• Have a strong customer focus and a keen eye for detail
• Proficient in Microsoft platforms i.e. Word, Excel and PowerPoint
