That’s why we provide significant opportunities for career progress, as well as training enrichment and multi-skilling, in a dynamic working environment.Refinement of the Transport plan in a time critical environment, constantly review and maintain in line with operational changes.Looking at cost saving initiatives and other streams of revenue.Liasing with driver agencies, managing bookings and forecasting.Undertake all activities in line with KPI requirements and SLA’s.Work closely with the Transport Team Managers to ensure resources are planned and used effectively.Management of holidays and rotas.Collation of weekly finance statistics.Work closely with our customer services department to ensure we are providing the customer with the best possible service.Planning the support of other sites in the network with driver resource.Other site administration as and when required.Reporting to the Transport Team Manager.Experience, skills, attributes and the Person:

• Confident communicator.
• A sound knowledge of the principles of transport operations and planning functions.
• Well organised and able to work to deadlines.
• Computer literate with good experience in using Microsoft Office – especially Excel.
• Ability to work under pressue and flexible in their approach.
• Sound team player and motivator who can work on own initiative.
• Good numerical and analytical skills paying strong attention to detail.
• Driven by continual improvement and high personal standards.

The above position will include shift and weekend working as the depot operates 24/7 therefore, it is essential that you are flexible in your approach to work.
