Job description: About the Role:We are seeking a highly motivated Commercial Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. Based in Cork, this role requires travel to various sites and client locations. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in financial planning, analysis, and commercial decision-making, ensuring optimal financial performance across the business.Key Responsibilities:Provide financial insights to support strategic and operational decision-making.Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting to drive business performance.Assist in commercial negotiations, pricing strategies, and contract reviews.Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve profitability.Support business units with cost control, variance analysis, and risk management.Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to enhance financial processes.Travel to company sites and client locations as needed to provide financial support and insights.Key Requirements:Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or ACA) with 3+ years of experience in a commercial finance role.Strong analytical skills and a strategic mindset.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
