Job description: DESCRIPTIONAmazon’s International Stores Communications team is seeking a Communications Assistant to support our EMEA, APAC, and LATAM regions.This role sits within the International Stores Communications Hub team as part of the Global Stores Communications organisation and reports to the Core Retail Communications Manager, and will additionally support the Head of International Influencer Relations. In this role, you will specifically support two key strategic Communications programs; (1) Prime and (2) Influencer Relations.Key job responsibilities
A day in the life
Your typical day involves pulling the latest international influencer performance metrics, drawing insights, and developing recommendations for future activities. You will manage communications messaging databases, ensuring versions are up-to-date and assessing their effectiveness. The role includes writing creative briefs for communications programs and supporting reactive issues management, including developing responses for upcoming business experiments. You will consult on country communications plans to ensure topic consistency and relevancy, while working across teams to gather relevant business data and insights to inform communications planning.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS– Experience in professional communications or public relationsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS– Bachelor’s degree
– Understanding of traditional and social media landscapes
– Knowledge of international cultural trends and differences
– Creative problem-solving skills
– Strong organizational and prioritization abilities
