Job description: How You’ll Make Your MarkYour main tasks in this role are:

  • You are responsible for conducting monthly consolidation activities, including intercompany reconciliation, eliminations and capital consolidation in SAP SEM-BCS, ensuring a solid foundation for both internal and external reporting
  • Your responsibilities include the preparation of various IFRS group financial statements and notes with the team
  • In your role, you administer and customise the international consolidation system (SAP SEM-BCS), providing the technical requirements for the monthly consolidation
  • As part of your tasks, you establish and define accounting policies at the group level in cooperation with the Group accounting and the IFRS department, taking into account national, international as well as technical requirements
  • You act as a central point of contact for all accounting departments across the ALDI SÜD countries, supporting and advising colleagues using your extensive expertise
  • Your tasks include creating reports based on consolidated figures in Excel (using SAP Analysis for Office)
  • You collaborate in challenging (international) projects, ensuring they align with both business and technical consolidation specifications
  • Optimising and developing processes and IT systems within the organisation complements your area of responsibility

Your ProfileThe requirements of the role include:

  • You have completed a business administration education with a focus on financial accounting
  • You possess professional experience in consolidation or have completed a certified public accountant examination
  • You are very confident with the use of Microsoft office, especially Excel
  • You are business fluent in English
  • IFRS knowledge and experience with SAP SEM-BCS is an advantage
  • Strong communication skills, teamwork abilities and a structured working style belong to your core competencies
  • You are enthusiastic to work in a dynamic environment and enjoy collaborating with international stakeholders
