Job description: Job Title: Contracts ManagerEmployment Type: PermanentStart Date: July 2025Location: Based in or local to Merseyside and travel to North West sitesSalary & Benefits: £55,000-£65,000 DOE + Car Allowance + 25 Days Holiday + Pension + Full Health Benefits (after 6 months)About the RoleI am seeking a dedicated and experienced Contracts Manager to join a well-regarded regional contractor, known for its strong brand, engaging company culture, and excellent project delivery in the public sector. You’ll oversee 1-2 sites at a time, managing projects from £500k to £2M across Education, Leisure, and Public sector.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage all contract-related activities across multiple live sitesWork closely with the design team, Quantity Surveyors, and project plannersOversee programme development and ensure timely project deliveryLiaise with stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communicationUphold quality, health and safety, and compliance standards throughoutRequirementsProven experience in public sector projects, ideally in schools, leisure facilities, and/or blue light schemesBased within 15-20 miles of MerseysideStrong understanding of managing design teams, programming, and planningDemonstrable experience running multiple construction projects of £500k-£2M in valueIdeally hold an HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Construction or a related field4+ years at Contracts Manager levelWhat’s in It for You:Join a company with a great regional reputation and a modern, vibrant officeCompetitive salary & packageExciting projectsInterviews will be held WC 23rd June.If you would like to apply for the role, please email me over a copy of your up to date CV.
