Job description: Possibility of remote work: Hybrid, WFO 10 days per month
Contract duration: 6 months
Location: Frankfurt, GermanyJOB DETAILSRole Title: Data ScientistMinimum years of experience: 8 yearsRequirements:
Master’s or Ph.D. in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a data science role, with a focus on building and deploying models in production
Proven expertise in multivariate time series modeling as a must-have skill, and demonstrated knowledge in other branches of machine learning, including supervised and unsupervised learning
Advanced skills in feature engineering and selection
Proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis and modeling
Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling techniques
Experience with AWS cloud services, particularly Redshift for data storage and analysis, and SageMaker for model deployment
Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to effectively lead and mentor a team
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities with a keen attention to detail
Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering data science projects within a fast-paced environment is a must
Proactive mindset and strong coding skills
Nice-to-Have:
Experience with big data technologies and frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)
Familiarity with deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch)
Knowledge of data visualization tools and techniques for communicating insights to non-technical stakeholders
