We’re seeking a Data scientist to join our team to contribute to Lundbeck’s ESG reporting and deliver meaningful insights through data-driven assessments.For over a decade, we have reported on our sustainability efforts, the most important challenges and the impact on our business, stakeholders and the societies in which we operate. In the coming years we see an increase in expectations on transparency, consolidation into formal frameworks and requirements for corporate sustainability reporting and insights. Based on this, we have a new job opening in our Corporate Health, Safety & Environment team.Your new roleAs a Data Scientist in our Corporate Health, Safety, and Environment department, you will play a key role in collecting, managing, transforming, and visualizing ESG-related data to support our sustainability initiatives and reporting requirements. You will work with data related to climate change, waste, the circular economy, water, health and safety, and more. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will help ensure that accurate, meaningful data is available to drive informed decision-making and fulfill reporting obligations.Key Responsibilities:Data Collection:
- Gather ESG data from various internal and external sources.
- Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Develop and implement data collection methodologies and tools.
Data Storage and Management:
- Design and maintain databases and data storage solutions for ESG data.
- Implement data governance and internal control
- Ensure efficient and scalable data storage systems.
Data Transformation:
- Clean, preprocess, and transform raw data into usable formats.
- Develop algorithms and models to analyze ESG data.
- Identify trends, patterns, and insights from data.
Data Visualization:
- Create visualizations and dashboards to communicate ESG data effectively.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data visualization needs.
- Prepare and present data insights to domain experts, decision makers and other stakeholders.

You are passionate about leveraging technology to deliver best-in-class data models.In addition, you have:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in data collection, management, transformation, and visualization.
- Experience with dimensional modelling
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL).
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI or SAC).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
