Our Shockwave Medical portfolio aims to establish a new standard of care for medical device treatment of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease through its differentiated and proprietary local delivery of sonic pressure waves for the treatment of calcified plaque.Position OverviewThe Director Market Access will be responsible for leading reimbursement & HTA submissions across target markets in EMEA. The role spans Evidence, Value and Access domains and will cover a diverse set of challenges and processes across various geographies. This individual will work closely with the Global Market Access team & external consultants, making use of clinical data and economic models, to establish appropriate justifications for reimbursement and coverage. This is expected to include using cost effectiveness models and value dossiers for reimbursement applications and product positioning. As part of this effort, the preparing and updating of national reimbursement roadmaps and HTA submission files for Shockwave products, services, and industry trends will be critical. In addition, ensuring robust health economic data analyses as it relates to the EMEA region will be very important in advancing this novel new therapy.
