Your Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan and direct the day-to-day operations of the sales and marketing department to maximize revenue and profitability while providing exceptional service to potential and existing clients.
  • Conduct daily sales activities, including lead generation, face-to-face meetings, contract negotiations, site inspections, attendance at trade shows, client entertainment, and both national and international sales trips.
  • Perform monthly tracking of corporate accounts to assess production levels, identify any declines, and take corrective action as necessary.
  • Identify and manage all Corporate and Consortia Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for the city, ensuring maximum participation from the hotels.
  • Analyze GDS production reports and intelligence information to enhance business channel strategies.
  • Focus on driving meeting and conference business into the hotel.
  • Provide weekly and monthly reports on account performance and general activities to the General Manager and Central Office.
  • Contribute to the hotel’s pricing strategy and forecasting in collaboration with the General Manager and Revenue Manager.

What You Will Need:

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in a sales or marketing role, preferably in a hotel or customer-focused environment.
  • A creative thinker with an outgoing personality, capable of building new relationships and maintaining existing ones.
  • Proven experience in effective people management within a team environment.
  • Sales-focused, target-driven, and results-oriented.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to provide clear reports to clients and colleagues.
  • Confident, ambitious, and proactive in approach.
