Job description: DescriptionThe domain owner for grid code requirements takes responsibility for all aspects of INNIO Jenbacher interaction with global grid code requirements, covering the identification of requirements for relevant markets, decomposition of requirements for product technical application, demonstration of product conformity, and advocacy activities in alignment with the relevant industry bodies.What We Offer:

Your Responsibilities:
- Screening and monitoring of global grid code regulatory landscape to ensure timely identification of impactful changes
- Development and communication of high-level impact statements relating to grid code regulatory changes to internal stakeholders
- Identification and analysis of grid codes and support materials relevant for target markets defined in agreement with business functions in the frame of a scheduled planning and review process
- Structured decomposition of detailed grid code requirements to allow direct derivation of product and system specifications, requirements for the demonstration of conformity, and direct comparison of global requirements to allow product variant optimization
- Produce, maintain and make available internally the relevant technical documentation supporting grid code conformity certification
- Guide and support engineering teams on demand in all matters relating to grid code requirements, including focused assessment of product and technology developments to support formal program reviews
- Provide solution-oriented expert internal consultancy and external third-party liaison as required from time to time by individual cases concerning grid code legislation, exemptions and derogations, permissions to connect, results of conformity testing and interpretation of test data in terms of machine and measurement system characteristics
- Drive grid code advocacy strategy for the company, interacting directly with representative bodies (EUGENE, EU Level and others), including legislative influencing with grid operators, regulatory modifications with EU and international level organizations, as well as customer educational efforts on product capabilities.
Your Profile:
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Power Systems Engineering or related field
- Recognized expert in grid code regulations with proven experience translating regulations into technical requirements
- Strong knowledge of reciprocating engine design and operation preferred
- Effective collaborator in international teams with strategic and systematic problem-solving skills
- Excellent English communication skills (German a plus) & willingness to travel internationally
- A valid work permit for Austria as a prerequisite for this position (Non-EU citizens: please attach the work permit to the application)
The base pay is composed of the amount according to the Austrian collective agreement which is at least EUR 4.269,07 gross per month (x 14) and an over payment depending on your qualifications and experience.
