Job description: Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Chemical Documentation Specialist who is passionate about safety, sustainability, and excellence, ready to join our mission to uphold the highest standards!This is a Fixed term contract until end of 2026.Core ResponsibilitiesEnsure EHS approval for both Bill of Materials (BOM) and non-BOM materials to align with safety regulations and sustainability goals.Actively collaborate with key partners, including the Materials Department and Procurement, to align safety standards and material selection.Oversee the handling and organization of documentation for material and chemical products, ensuring all Safety Data Sheets (SDS) from suppliers are accurate and accessible.Identify and propose substitution activities at the Billund location to replace undesirable chemicals (e.g., CMR, SVHC) with safer alternatives.Conduct a thorough cleanup of chemical master data in SAP, focusing on updating SDS and supplier information to ensure compliance and safety.Play your part in our team succeedingThe Global Health and Safety Department, consisting of 20 dedicated professionals, is committed to establishing a clear vision and ambitious goals for health and safety within the LEGO Group. We strive to foster a culture of safety that empowers every individual to prioritize health and well-being in their daily activities.Do you have what it takes?Understanding of chemical properties and safety protocols, equivalent to that of a lab technician, ensuring compliance with industry standards.Strong interest and competence in managing documentation for material and chemical products, including Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and regulatory compliance documents.Ability to work effectively with multi-functional teams, including EHS, procurement, and operations, to promote best practices and ensure alignment on safety initiatives.A passion for seeing opportunities for process improvement and innovation in chemical management practices, reflecting our value of striving for excellence.Please note that we do not offer relocation support for this position.#L1-SV1Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis.
