Job description: The Safety Engineer manages the establishment, implementation, and maintenance of a safe, accident-free, healthy work environment, compliant with all applicable EHS regulations and company policies and procedures.Key Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments, JSAs, and safety reviews
• Ensure compliance with EHS laws, standards, and corporate policies
• Support safety in design, construction, and equipment modifications
• Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions
• Develop and deliver EHS training programs
• Drive safety culture through employee engagement and communication
• Monitor EHS metrics and support audits/inspections
• Manage occupational health, emergency response, and security programs
• Maintain GMP and quality system compliance
• Adapt to evolving EHS priorities and site needs
• Achieve a series of effective EHS KPIs for the site and maintain compliance.

Key Requirements:

• Degree qualified in Automation, Electrical or Process Engineering essential
• Minimum of Level 6 Certificate in Health & Safety from an accredited institution or Tech IOSH certification, or proven experience in process safety
• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a GMP production environment, preferably in medical, pharma or technology sector.
• Experience in carrying out ergonomic, chemical and occupational noise assessments is highly desirable.
