Job description: Electrical Engineer Kabeltechnik Offshore (Engineer)Key Responsibilities:

• Lead technical planning and maintenance strategy for offshore HV cables.

• Perform condition assessments, electrical parameter calculations, and technical risk evaluations.

• Support grid expansion and innovation projects related to submarine cable systems.

• Manage contracts, warranties, and supplier coordination.

• Handle technical documentation, participate in working groups, and deliver internal training.

• Participate in on-call duty, offering technical guidance during emergencies.

Typical Day:

• Reviewing and optimizing maintenance plans and analyzing system data.

• Leading technical evaluations for ongoing or upcoming offshore cable projects.

• Managing project budgets and vendor relationships.

• Participating in technical committees or innovation workshops.

• Collaborating with other departments (legal, procurement, construction).

Ideal Candidate:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or Energy Technology.
• At least 3-5 years of experience with HV cable systems, preferably offshore.
• Experience in project management, technical procurement, and contract law.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Fluent in German, proficient in English.
• Offshore medical fitness and valid driving license
