Job description: A new opportunity is available for a skilled and proactive Maintenance Electrician to support the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of automated manufacturing equipment and plant services.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out routine and preventative maintenance across all site equipment.Diagnose and repair faults on production lines, plant utilities, and control systems.Support production by responding quickly to breakdowns and collaborating with production teams.Perform electrical and mechanical repairs, upgrades, and line modifications.Use and maintain AutoCAD drawings and electrical schematics.Undertake installation and commissioning of new equipment.Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain high standards of housekeeping.Participate in plant improvement projects (WCM/Lean/CI), contributing innovative technical solutions.Monitor and maintain appropriate stock levels of spare parts and consumables.Essential Skills & ExperienceStrong experience with industrial electrical systems, instrumentation, and PLCs.Proficiency in fault finding and repair on motors, sensors, HMIs, temperature controls, and automation systems.Working knowledge of mechanical systems including pneumatics, hydraulics, and drive systems.Ability to interpret and maintain electrical drawings and schematics (AutoCAD experience beneficial).Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously or in a multi-skilled team.Excellent communication skills and a commitment to safe, high-quality workmanship.Flexibility to support new product trials and process improvements as required.Apply today, by sending your CV and I will contact you for a discussion.Contact Aine ODwyer on 086 169 6824 or email aodwyer@frsrecruitment for a confidential chatPlease note: due to current time constraints and travel restrictions, only candidates located in Ireland with full rights to work will be considered for this position.By applying, you are giving consent for FRS Recruitment to contact you about this job.
