Job description: Finance Director – HSS Hire – 6 Month Fixed Term ContractHSS Hire now part of Chadwicks Group. Based in the HSS Hire business, we now have an opportunity to join our team on a temporary basis, leading the HSS Finance function in the role of Finance Director.Chadwicks Group, a top 10 listed “Great Place to Work” company, is the market leader in builders merchanting in Ireland with almost 2000 colleagues across ROI & NI. Our brands include HSS Hire MacNaughton Blair (NI), Cork Builders Providers, Panelling Centre, Davies, Telfords, Heiton Steel, Morgans Timber, Proline and Sitetech representing a significant brand presence across the island of Ireland.Principle ObjectiveThe Finance Directors joins at an exciting time as HSS Hire is integrating into the Chadwicks Group. This is a key appointment and will be responsible for leading day-to-day finance operations for the HSS business whilst also aligning systems & process to Chadwicks Group.Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing the day-to-day finance operations, leading a team of finance professionals
• Monitoring weekly and monthly revenue results vs budget/forecast
• Forecasting / Budgeting
• Data extraction and analysis
• Build & maintain financial models for scenario planning, profitability, and Capex
• Support month end / year end close and audit processes
• P&L variance analysis
• Monitor and review weekly KPIs
• Act as finance liaison to all other teams both within HSS Hire and Chadwicks
• Lead the implementation and integration of new processes and systems within the finance department as HSS Hire aligns to Chadwicks Group Finance processes
• Develop and execute change management plans to ensure a smooth integration to Chadwicks Group
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to gain buy-in and support for process improvements and changes

Key RequirementsQualified accountant with minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance leadership role in a multi-site business of scale. PLC experience is advantageousStrong leadership and team-building capabilities, with a focus on fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.Project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneouslyStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and develop effective solutionsProficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook etc) and ERP systems, with experience optimizing these toolsContract Type

• Temporary (six months) full time
• Full time 39-hour contract
• Working week Monday to Friday (Hybrid Working)
• Location: Unit 12, Botley Lane, Kilmalogue, Portarlington, Co. Offaly, R32 X01X.
