Job description: Are you an experienced and detail-oriented accountant looking for your next challenge? We’re seeking a Fixed Term Contract Accountant to join our dynamic finance team based in Cork. This role offers hybrid working flexibility and the opportunity to collaborate with international outsourced finance teams, playing a key role in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate closely with outsourced finance providers to ensure smooth day-to-day finance operationsReview and oversee month-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting packsSupport the preparation of management accounts, budgets, and forecastsEnsure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirementsLiaise with internal stakeholders and external auditors as neededDrive continuous process improvements and contribute to finance transformation initiativesRequirements:Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent)3+ years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within a multinational or outsourced finance environmentStrong understanding of financial reporting, controls, and accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP)Excellent communication skills and ability to manage remote teams and third-party providersProficient in Excel and familiar with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
