Job description: FRS Recruitment are now recruiting for a Financial Accountant to join a well-known not-for-profit organisation in Dublin.This is a temporary role with a strong view to permanency for the right candidate, offering hybrid working options and a salary of €65,000–€70,000 per annum, depending on experience.The successful candidate will report to the Financial Controller and will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial operations of the group, including services, retail, and associated entities. This is a varied and rewarding role suited to a qualified accountant with strong systems experience and excellent attention to detail. Candidates with prior experience in the charity or non-profit sector will be at a strong advantage.Key responsibilities include:Preparing monthly management accounts to Balance Sheet stageBank reconciliations and cash managementCredit card terminal income reportingSupporting the year-end audit and liaising with auditorsBudget preparation and variance analysisMaintaining the Fixed Asset Register and monthly depreciationManaging intercompany accountsCoordinating supplier payments with the Accounts Payable teamVAT management and income reconciliationsKey requirements:Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA or equivalent)Strong experience using accounting software and advanced ExcelExcellent attention to detail, organisational, and time management skillsA proactive team player with a focus on process improvementPrevious charity or public sector experience is highly desirableIf you are a dedicated finance professional looking to make a difference in a meaningful organisation, we’d love to hear from you.
