Job description: Our client, a market leader in infrastructure delivery across Europe, is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their finance team on a contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the financial oversight of capital projects.Responsibilities:

• Manage monthly close activities, including preparation of P&L and balance sheet for multiple entities and jurisdictions.

• Reconcile company balance sheets, intercompany accounts, and oversee payroll inputs and cashflow monitoring.

• Partner with budget holders to analyse key P&L costs and support financial KPI reporting.

• Support the preparation of statutory accounts and coordinate with external auditors.

Requirements:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with 3+ years’ post-qualified experience.

• Proven experience in multi-entity financial reporting and audit preparation.

• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to communicate effectively across departments.

• Excellent organisational, analytical, and interpersonal skills with a hands-on approach.
