As a Financial Controller, you will play a vital role in supporting major projects within the Project Portfolio Management team. You will work closely with project managers and senior stakeholders to ensure financial performance aligns with project budgets and objectives.Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing controlling support for major projects, including monthly cost reporting and follow-up on change orders, accruals, and cash flow updates.
  • Developing presentation materials and valuable insights to support Portfolio and Project Managers.
  • Supporting budget submissions and being a subject matter expert on asset creation and investment cases.
  • Driving the monthly controlling process and coordinating with project managers to align spending.
  • Analyzing budget, interpreting the results, and effectively communicating findings to management.

You will report to the Project Portfolio Manager and collaborate extensively with project managers and financial teams across our sites in Gentofte, Hillerød, and Kalundborg. You may need to engage with multiple projects across various locations.Qualifications
To be a competitive candidate, you should have:

  • A degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, with a understand-ing of budgeting processes and financial controls
  • At least 3 years of experience working within a project environment, preferably with exposure to financial controlling
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Power BI, SAP, and Excel, with the ability to present financial data in an understandable manner
  • Excellent communication skills, enabling you to effectively convey financial insights to stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong analytical skills to identify budget gaps, propose solutions, and facilitate dis-cussions around project financials

You thrive in managing financial aspects of multiple complex projects and enjoy creating structured financial oversight processes. You are proactive in addressing financial matters and excel at collaborating with project teams to enhance the overall financial performance.About the department
API M4 (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient Manufacturing 4) is part of Product Supply, Quality & IT. At our sites in Gentofte, Hillerød, and Kalundborg, we are more than 600 colleagues working together to manufacture the API used in life-saving medicine for people living with serious chronic diseases. We work with advanced chemical and biotechnological processes such as cultivation, recovery, purification, and freeze-drying.
