Job description: Brilliant opportunity for a motivated FP&A professional to join a leading Irish Group in West Dublin as Performance and Planning Manager responsible for analysing and driving the performance of multiple business units.As the successful applicant you will be responsible for gathering and interpreting data across business segments, providing actionable insights and strategic recommendations to the Senior Management Team and leadership of the Group.This would be a brilliant role for a qualified accountant with strong expertise in Power BI, data analytics, and business analysis looking for an exciting opportunity in an organisation with excellent growth potentials.Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to set performance targets and strategic objectives.
  • Involved in budgeting and forecasting processes and conduct analysis of performance vs budgets
  • Consolidate and interpret financial and commercial performance data from all Business units in the Group.
  • Design and monitor Power BI dashboards and reports, offering real-time insights and trend analysis.
  • Undertake scenario analyses and feasibility studies to support decision-making for new initiatives or expansions.
  • Business partner with sales, operations, IT, and external partners
  • Manage and coach a team of two direct reports

Qualifications & Skills

  • ACCA, ACA, CIMA qualification with 4+ years PQE
  • Excellent analytical abilities, with the capacity to extract meaningful insights from diverse and complex data sets.
  • Keen attention to detail and a structured approach to identifying trends, root causes, and possible solutions.
  • Ability to communicate complex data insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decisions through data-driven recommendations.
  • A team player who can work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Power BI expertise and familiarity with additional data analysis tools and languages (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python)
