The DEL technology at ARC is at the core of hit and lead discovery within many of these efforts.Come do your best work alongside other innovative, driven professionals in this thrilling and meaningful role.Fixed term (Senior) Associate Research Material Management at Amgen Research Copenhagen, DenmarkWHAT YOU WILL DOFor this vital role, we are seeking a skilled Life science graduate to take part in a dynamic and results-oriented team at Amgen Research Copenhagen (ARC), with responsibilities including (but not limited to) supporting Research Material Management (RMM) primarily local at ARC as well as international, and maintaining continuous and reliable collaboration between stakeholders, peers and key suppliers​. Furthermore, you will assist in implementing the Global Research tactical strategy and timelines. The work is conducted within cross-functional teams and in coordination with colleagues in the US.The position primarily facilitates the prompt and precise achievement of R&D activities, supports process enhancement efforts, and oversees general building maintenance activities.You will be a member of the ARC RMM team. This is a fixed term assignment of 24 months.Specifically, job responsibilities will include the following tasks:Daily Order Support: Implement and support daily orders through ARC Mosaic, including internal ARC RMM orders.Instrument Maintenance: Perform basic scheduled maintenance of key instruments such as liquid handlers, tube re/de-cappers, and rack scanners.Chemical Management: Plan and accomplish chemical check-ins, supervise expiring chemicals, and handle expiration dates of peroxide formers.Logistics and Workflow: Support logistics for aliquots and compounds discard, streamline logistics between sites, and establish new workflows at new sites.Collaboration and Training: Collaborate with an international team, manage solvent, gas, dry ice, and waste, and maintain role-based curriculum training.WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOUWe are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients. The qualified professional we seek is a motivated and organized team player with these qualifications:BASIC QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s Degree preferably in Life Sciences, Chemistry or related field and 1 year of relevant experience from related business operations​OR Associate degree/Technical certification in a relevant field and 2 years relevant experience​Fluency in both Danish and English, both in written and oral communicationPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSFamiliarity with R&D activities​Solid understanding of standard operating procedures (SOPs)​Experience with Laboratory Management or R&D Operations is an advantage​Experience in organizational and administrative tasks in the pharmaceutical industry​Excellent user of Office Programs such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook​Document creation and management experience including effective compliance analysis and reporting​Flexibility to work on any type of assignment and prioritize accordingly​Hands on skills setWHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM USAs we work to develop treatments that take care of others, we also work to care for our teammates’ professional and personal growth and well-being.
