Craft and lead specific cheese segment strategies and develop and implement go-to-market plans to achieve financial targets. Create compelling content, manage stakeholder engagement, identify areas for improvement, and advocate for necessary changes. Ensure the continuous evolution of a high-quality innovation pipeline.Craft the global cheese strategyDevelop robust go-to-market plans aligned with segment strategies, emphasizing a customer-centric approach: Ensure long-term growth and profitability in the cheese segment according to its role.Develop and implement commercial strategies for relevant cheese segment(s) to achieve market presence goals within a specified timeframe.Utilize and analyze data from sources such as customer and market mapping, and leveraging systems like Salesforce, C-Projects, and CRM systems for input.Act as the launch manager for segment-relevant product launches, focusing on USP incl. pricing, execution excellence and thorough follow-up.Maintain a comprehensive understanding of market dynamics, customer insights, and industrial technology trends to support strategic decision-making.Engage directly with key accounts to secure alignment between their needs and our solutions.Lead the biosolution portfolio and innovation pipeline across Cheese segmentsReview and update the cheese segment roadmap twice a year to ensure comprehensive coverage of new technologies and to reflect market movements and changing customer needs. Make informed gating decisions regarding profit, quality, cost, and capacity.Lead the strategic development of our biosolution portfolio tailored to specific cheese segments, ensuring a robust innovation pipeline focused on delivering high-quality solutions.Secure the architecture and optimization of segment portfolios that seamlessly integrate various biosolutions, “combo´s” addressing unique segment and customer needs.Act as launch managers for relevant product launches, fostering a “bonfire” mentality for launch projects. Prioritize and establish the launch direction and cadence while ensuring a high-quality innovation pipeline.Take responsibility for the financial settings of MSP and TSP to achieve the best possible contribution/CMII for the cheese department.Be accountable for prioritizing projects within the segment in alignment with segment strategy, balancing resource requirements, and identifying necessary expertise within the organization.Develop outstanding content for internal and external promotional materials, including training and marketing initiatives in cooperation with MarCom.Maintain a healthy product rangeProactively identify maintenance needs, repairs, updates, and phage robustness, enzymes and final product specifications.Prepare and evaluate a healthy range with the appropriate level of revenue and contribution per GIN and product pruning.Assist in commercial decision-making and risk-taking in the event of production issues.Unlock our collective strengthActively contribute to the Global BU Cheese team. Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization, leveraging our networks to identify synergies and opportunities for collaboration and knowledge sharing within Novonesis.Participate in and actively contribute to project meetings and other relevant committees.Identify and secure robust stakeholder management across all relevant departments in the organization.Engage in networking to uncover additional synergies, promote knowledge sharing, and foster collaborations.A strong grasp of the connection between technical and commercial fields is essential. You must hold a master’s degree, preferably in dairy, food science, biotechnology, or bioscience, along with robust commercial acumen. Alternatively, a bachelor’s degree in dairy, food science, or bioscience, combined with relevant experience and a comprehensive understanding of B2B commercial practices, will also be considered.Experience in industrial customer interactions, including sales, technical sales support, marketing, product management, and business development in a B2B context, with a commitment to embracing global and cultural diversity.Customer-centric mindsetWe bring exposure and experience in both industrial and emerging markets, delivering value-added system design and channel support to our customersA proactive and structured approach and thrive in a high pace environment with ability to make prioritizations based on importance and urgency.Strong at building relationships at all levels, with the ability to navigate smoothly both internally and externally.A self-starting, self-motivated individual with a positive attitude and a strong influence on the organizationHands on with a positive approachAn excellent sparring partner for Core and Applied R&D, MarCom, Operations, PMT, and segment and peer segment leads.Strong proficiency in PC applications, particularly Excel, SAP, SalesForce.com, and the Office suiteExceptional analytical skills, solid business understanding, and a results-oriented mindsetSuperior communication and presentation abilitiesFluent in both spoken and written EnglishParticipate and lead teams effectively within a matrix organization, even without formal decision-making power. This demands empathy and respect, as well as the ability to harness everyone’s expertise to achieve results and elevate standards of excellence.Location: The workplace is global, yet most of the team will be based in our Lyngby office in Denmark.
