Job description: Overview of the RoleThe RFP and Due Diligence (RFP/DDS) organization is responsible for completing over 6000 RFPs/DDQs on an annual basis and this role’s primary responsibility is to act as a liaison between the RFP/DDS team’s managers in managing workflow for the global team. In addition, this role will help support the on team reporting need which includes (but not limited to), weekly team pipeline, quarterly, semi-annual and annual team metrics that are shared with internal stakeholders. The individual in this role will also help support team initiatives alongside the Head of the team. This job interacts with RFP management, sales teams and subject matter experts across the business to ensure client and prospect requests are clear and serviced by the proper RFP/DDS channel.Key Responsibilities and DutiesWork closely with RFP/DDS managers in scoping and assigning requests that are received through our team’s workflow tool – SalesforceSchedule and host on-team asset class pod meetings to understand team’s capacity and areas of expertiseResponsible for team’s quarterly/annual metric reportingSupport special projects on an as needed basis assigned by the Head of RFP/DDSDevelops and facilitates relationships with key business partners and stakeholders.Creates and distributes information on improving processes in proposal cycle to team and business partnersDevelop and facilitate relationships with key business partners and stakeholders.Technical Skills & Qualifications RequiredExperience in managing workflow in Salesforce or other technical workflow toolBachelor’s degree, ideally gained in a related subject i.e. Finance, Economics, Business etc.Broad understanding of Asset Classes and products within Private and Public MarketsDemonstrable product/investment knowledgeBilingual language skills advantageousProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project and PowerPoint and RFP databasesClear and concise verbal and written communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects while adhering to strict deadlines and producing quality workExperience operating within a large, matrixed asset management organization preferableStrong sales and client service orientationthroughout the organization, from technical staff to executive leadersAbility to work with little supervision as well as ability to request supervision or assistance when necessary to meet deadlines.Work Experience1-3 years experienceRelated SkillsAccountability, Adaptability, Business Analysis, Business Process Understanding, Collaboration, Communication, Compliance, Data Preprocessing, Detail-Oriented, Nuveen Products/Services Acumen, Project Management, Proposal WritingCompany OverviewNuveen is the investment management arm of TIAA.
