  • Executive Support & Reporting
  • Prepare high-impact reports, dashboards, and strategic briefings for global Supply Chain Managers and executive board
  • Track key end-to-end supply chain KPIs within the steel industry and operational metrics; consolidate input from business units for decision-making
  • Control and monitor the stock levels of finished goods across various locations, ensuring alignment with demand forecasts and production capacity.
  • Coordinate cross-functional reviews, support strategic and tactical planning cycles, and global leadership meetings
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Ensure active stakeholder management and collaboration between SCM team and key internal/external stakeholders
  • Facilitate communication across regions, departments, and time zones with diplomacy and clarity
  • Collaborate with departments (procurement, production, sales, finance and logistics) to align business strategies
  • Ensure timely follow-ups, alignment on priorities, and smooth information flow at the executive level
  • Project & Initiative Coordination
  • Support the execution of enterprise-wide initiatives across supply chain functions (procurement, logistics, digital transformation, sustainability)
  • Identify potential risks in the finished goods supply chain and develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions
  • Drive continuous Improvement measures and projects
  • Manage timelines, deliverables, and documentation for strategic projects
  • Confidentiality & Executive Presence
  • Handle sensitive information and strategic matters with absolute discretion
  • Represent the Global Supply Chain Management Team professionally and consistently across all touchpoints

Qualifications

  • Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
  • Experience in analysis, reporting and transforming data to transparent and clear information for decisions on executive level
  • Experience in supply chain management and controlling in an international or industrial environment
  • Consulting or business analyst background beneficial
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and BI tools
  • Strong analytical skills and a structured problem-solving approach
  • Fluent in English (German or other languages are a plus)
