We have dozens of contacts with foreign experts and pedagogical and scientific institutions both on an individual and institutional level and provide excellent facilities for students and staff.You can also find out more about us on our website, social networks or on LinkedIn of the MU Faculty of Law.The Department of Civil Procedure focuses on scientific and pedagogical activities in the field of civil procedure, uncontested proceedings, enforcement proceedings, insolvency proceedings and alternative dispute resolution.Your job will include:

  • responsibility for the teaching and research activities of the department and the achievement of the required outputs and results,
  • personnel management of the department (motivation, evaluation, and career development of employees),
  • responsibility for the management of the funds entrusted to them,
  • close cooperation with the faculty management,
  • own pedagogical (including preparation of study and teaching materials), scientific research and publication activities.

We require:

  • Master’s degree in Law,
  • academic or scientific rank of professor, associate professor or Ph.D. (if habilitation proceedings have been initiated),
  • at least 10 years of experience in the field,
  • active pedagogical and scientific activity and readiness to guarantee professional subjects taught at the department,
  • personal and professional prerequisites for leading the department,
  • ability to teach and publish in Czech and English, other language skills are an advantage,
  • persons born after 1 December 1971 do not have to prove that they meet the requirements of Act No. 451/1991 Coll. as amended,
  • information on the employee’s future employment relationship within the meaning of §70 of Act No. 111/1998 Coll. on Universities, as amended,
  • moral integrity.
