Job description: HR Intern (9-12 months)Department: Human ResourcesEmployment Type: Fixed Term ContractLocation: DublinDescriptionCodec is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to support the HR team over a 9-12 month period. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic HR environment and contribute to a wide range of people-related activities.Key Responsibilities

  • Administrative Support: Assist with general HR administration including document preparation, filing, and data entry.
  • Co-ordination Work: Help coordinate interviews, onboarding activities, and internal HR events.
  • Reporting: Support the preparation of HR reports such as headcount, attrition, and sick leave summaries.
  • Event Management: Assist in planning and executing employee engagement events and HR initiatives.
  • Query Handling: Respond to internal HR queries and direct them to the appropriate team members when needed.
  • Project Support: Contribute to ongoing HR projects such as employee engagement action plans or recruitment campaigns.
  • Data Entry & Maintenance: Ensure HR systems and records (e.g. BambooHR) are up to date and accurate.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Comfortable handling confidential information with discretion.
  • A proactive team player with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
