Job description: Do you enjoy taking responsibility and like working in a small team?Do you have an interest in Irish Food, Drink and Horticulture?Are you looking to make a difference in what you do and have the relevant experience?Then you’ve come to the right place.HRIS and Learning and Development Administrator(6 Month Fixed Term Contract)DublinReports To: Human Resources DirectorGrade: 6The salary scale for this role is €37,927 – €58,532New Entrants to the Public Sector commence on the first point of the ScalePurposeBord Bia has a vision that customers around the globe recognise that Irish food and drink is world-class; that it is high quality, distinctive, and made by a diverse range of creative producers from a unique and fortuitous island location.Our purpose is to bring Ireland’s outstanding food, drink and horticulture to the world, thus enabling growth and sustainability of producers.In this role, you will support the implementation of a new HRIS and the development of the learning and development function for the organisation, unlocking efficiencies and assisting in capability building.What you’ll doDevelop, document and map HR process requirements for the new HRIS in key HR areas and complete the new service provider process templates, supporting the mapping and configuration of the new HRI system.Become proficient in the new HRIS and an expert user, understanding the importance of positive employee experience, facilitate the flow of information, sharing knowledge on HR policies and play a key information provider role within the project team, for the HR function and staff.Develop HRIS Manager and staff training sessions, materials suitable for all generations i.e., presentations, digitised, online learning and blended learning sessions. Organise and co-ordinate learning programme for all staff, head office and overseas specific locations.Support the HR Executive in the data review, data collation and data cleansing stages in preparation for the data migration to the new system and meeting organisation.As an expert user work with the system vendor to configure the new system to meet the organisations requirements as outlined in the agreed project terms and statement of work.Build and configure reports to meet the organisations reporting requirements, ie working time act, Department of Agriculture workforce planning reports, ECF monitoring and leaves.Support the HR Director in the alignment of the HRIS with the organisations learning and development requirements.Raise purchase orders and administer budgets in accordance with One Bord Bia procedures.Adhere to the One Bord Bia Operating Model.About YouEssential Knowledge, Skills & CapabilitiesKnowledge:HR, Business understandingEmployment legislation and contractingHR policiesHuman Resource Information SystemsLearning and DevelopmentSkills & Capabilities:Digital first mindset and comfortable with an agile culture focused on continuous improvementDetail conscious with good analytical skills,Structured, systematic and organisedAction orientated, tenacious and resilientConfident dealing with all levels management and staffExcellent communication and presentation skillsExcellent interpersonal skillsDesirable Knowledge, Skills & CapabilitiesKnowledge:Strong interest in data and analysisConfident, composed and reacts well under pressureClosing Date/Time: Friday, 30 May 2025 @ 5:00pm (GMT/UTC +1)Bord Bía is an Equal Opportunities Employer: We want to see a society where everyone is equal.
