Job description: Position PurposeThe Support Service Specialist plays a key role in the administration and continuous improvement of rewards and benefits processes across the Czech Republic. This position ensures the accurate execution of budget planning, payroll data mapping, bonus and allowance administration, and compliance with local taxation and legislative requirements. The role supports payroll implementation, conducts market benchmarking, and manages core Workday workflows related to compensation and benefits. The specialist actively collaborates with cross-functional and cross-country teams to deliver timely reporting, maintain data integrity, and drive operational excellence in employee compensation and reward processes.Key Responsibilities1. Budgeting and Financial Administration

  • Annual Budget Ownership: Manage the annual budget process for KS plant, including headcount planning and rewards cost allocation.
  • Benefits Budgeting: Establish and oversee benefits budgets for all functions within CZ.
  • Cycle Preparation:
  • Review and ensure data quality for all relevant employees.
  • Assess eligibility for merit increases, bonuses, and LTIs.
  • Exclude non-eligible individuals based on business decisions.
  • Prepare individual merit upload files.

2. Bonuses and Allowances

  • One-Time Payments & Allowances: Administer and process OTPs (e.g., signing bonus), including accrual tracking.
  • Long-Term Incentives (LTI):
  • Manage planning and year-to-date accrual overview.
  • Coordinate release of accruals for terminated employees.
  • Reconcile accrued data with the balance sheet.
  • ZPB Bonus Accruals:
  • Perform regular reconciliation of accruals vs. balance sheet accounts.
  • Track year-to-date accrued bonuses and release non-entitled amounts.

3. Salary Surveys and Market Benchmarking

  • External Benchmarking: Conduct and coordinate salary surveys with providers like Korn Ferry and Mercer.
  • Market Analysis: Deliver compensation benchmarks to support internal reward strategies

4. Benefits Administration

  • Healthcare Provider Oversight: Manage contract and cooperation with Allianz.
  • Benefit Taxation: Set up and maintain taxation processes aligned with Czech legislation.

5. Reporting and Data Processing

  • Statutory & Ad-hoc Reports: Prepare statistical reports and insights for internal and external use.
  • Workday Uploads: Execute correct uploads of rewards and benefits data into Workday.
  • Data Quality: Ensure high accuracy and consistency across all reporting sources.

6. Workday and Workflow Management

  • Workflow Monitoring: Supervise and manage workflows related to compensation and benefits in Workday.
  • Approvals: Handle approval cycles for job offers and salary changes.

7. Collaboration and Coordination

  • Cross-country Input Collection: Coordinate with colleagues across countries to gather benchmarking and benefit input.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and drive enhancements to reward-related processes.
  • Fiori in SAP: Manage invoice approval and purchase order tracking within the Fiori environment.

Key Requirements

  • Experience in rewards, benefits, or payroll operations.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, especially in Excel and Workday.
  • Willingness to learn new processes and understand Czech legislation and tax regulations related to benefits.
  • Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple processes and deadlines.
  • English fluency (written & spoken)
