Job description: This internship offers the opportunity to learn about the most advanced Digital Design and Verification methodology, improve your knowledge on System HW/SW co-design, HDL languages and get in touch with the most advanced design and verification environments offered by the EDA industry.Additionally you will also learn or improve your knowledge on Digital Signal Processing design and verification techniques, working in the context of NFC Modem development.Your Responsibilities:Analyze and understand the tasks assigned to you by your mentorPrepare an implementation proposal and review it with your mentorImplement the requested tasks, adopting an incremental test and release approachKeep the work database well-versioned and documentedGenerate documentation, where and when necessaryYour Profile:Ongoing studies in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Informatics or similarBasic knowledge of DSP concepts and tools (Matlab, Numpy, etc)Basic knowledge of Linux OS and/or bash/tcsh scriptingBasic knowledge of Verilog or VHDLBasic knowledge of Version Control Systems (e.g. SVN, GIT)Knowledge of C and Python languages is a plusKnowledge of RISC-V ISA is a plusSolid English skills (speaking and writing)Autonomous, reliable, team-oriented and self-driven working styleAvailable on site at least 16 hours/weekLearning Opportunities:NFC Standards and products.DSP algorithms and RISC-V ISA.Top-class EDA ToolsWe Offer:Flexible working timeHome Office opportunitiesOn-site free beverages and fresh fruitSocial events (student get-togethers, networking opportunities, etc.)and more!The minimum salary for this position is EUR 17- gross/hour.We offer student positions with a variety of lengths.We are proud to have received the Leading Employer Award for the 5th time in a row 2023, which is presented exclusively only to the top 1% of employers in Austria.
