• Learn and apply methods to improve product costs of components/systems systematically (e.g., ABC analysis, value analysis, should costing, target costing etc.)
• Deep dive on specific components and compare technical and cost relevant features
• Pro-actively collect ideas with product cost impact from various functions (e.g. Sourcing, Engineering, Service, Operations), evaluate and prioritize ideas based on given criteria
• Support & lead the cross-functional inititiation of projects under guidance of a mentor
• Support administrative activities within Product Line Management Team

Your Profile:

• Bachelor or master`s degree in economics or in a technical field (e.g. industrial engineering, mechanical, electrical or process engineering)
• Full time preferred, part time with min. 20h/week possible
• First project management experience is desired
• High motivation and ability to work independently
• Clear and precise communication style, feeling comfortable in a diverse, international and very dynamic environment
• Very good MS-Office and analytic skills
• Fluent in English, German or any other languages are a plus
• A valid work permit for Austria is a prerequisite for this position (Non-EU citizens: please attach the work permit to the application)

The internship is to be filled as soon as possible for 6 months with a possible extension to 12 months. The basic salary for this position is based on the statutory minimum salary of EUR 2.645,68 gross per month in Austria.Your first step into professional life starts now with us.
