Job description: The Inventory Manager will oversee stock control processes, ensuring efficient and accurate management of inventory within the logistics department.This role is based in Avonmouth Bristol and requires expertise within the transport and distribution industry to maintain optimal stock levels and drive operational efficiency.The Inventory Manager will be responsible for;

  • Oversee daily inventory operations to ensure accurate stock levels and availability.
  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures to minimise discrepancies.
  • Monitor stock movements and coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Analyse inventory data to identify trends and forecast demand effectively.
  • Collaborate with procurement and warehouse teams to streamline stock management processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory audits and stock adjustments.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards in all inventory activities.
  • Provide regular reports on inventory performance to senior management.
