Job description: The opportunityAs an Inventory Project Specialist, you’ll play a key role in supporting our internal teams and valued customers by delivering expert advice and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. From managing component lifecycles and procurement to handling loan and exchange activity, you’ll help drive performance, reduce costs, and support the delivery of our contractual commitments. This role also offers the chance to get involved in special projects that shape how we work and improve our service.What you’ll be doingSupport key projects aligned with SIM and MRO objectivesProvide technical guidance to internal teams and external partnersMonitor and manage shelf-life expiries for critical componentsReview and recommend improvements for Rotable and CR material floatsOversee procurement related to materialsEnsure timely and cost-effective closure of loan and exchange activityManage accurate monthly invoicing for exclusions, including AOG-related activityCollaborate closely with internal teams and customers to offer practical solutionsDeliver accurate reporting and data insightsNegotiate effectively with suppliers and customers to achieve the best outcomesAbout youStrong knowledge of AMOS, including confident system interrogationBackground in rotable and repairable procurementExperience with inventory modelling and analysisKnowledge of maintenance planning and supply chain operationsAbility to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholdersCommercial awareness developed through customer service or sales account management experienceExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbalStrong analytical skills with attention to detailAdvanced proficiency in ExcelWhy join us?We are AJW.
